VIFF is thrilled to announce its Films+ events: talks, panels, live shows and more, all centred on the screen-based storytelling industry. Monday, Oct 2 and Tuesday, Oct 3 - Next
New to the Vancouver International Film Festival this year, VIFF AMP is a summit that highlights the intersection between film and music in today's changing industry landscape. This summit will focus on the creation of content for film, including composed music, source music and the world of postproduction and sound design.

Music BC Presents: SOUNDOFF - A "How-To-Series" Event
Monday, October 2 - Venue: Imperial 319 Main St, Vancouver, BC
Doors: 5:30pm | Event 6:00 - 8:00pm
From The Hurt Locker to Nike, world class music supervisors discuss the ups, downs and challenges of music supervision. What's working? What's not? Live music performances by hot local bands round out this stimulating event about placing your music in TV, film, games, ads and media. Bands will be announced shortly.

VIFF AMP Music in Film Summit
Tuesday, October 3 - Venue: Vancity Theatre
A full-day conference at the Vancity Theatre, including panels, networking and workshops with music supervisors, agents, executives and other key industry leaders. With conference delegates attending from Los Angeles, Toronto and other cities across North America, this promises to be an informative, inspiring and potentially transformative day.
